riaffiorare, created from 2020 through 2022, explores the non-linearity of time and how this can be experienced in particular places/spaces. The series of digital collages are made from photographs Jay has taken in Italy over the many years she has been doing research there combined with found photographs and artworks from the Italian Renaissance.
