Pellegrinaggio
Rosalia would not have been able to use Google maps when she left Palermo in the 12th century. It is unlikely she had a map at all. How did she make it to Quisquina? Following a main road carefully while listening, smelling, feeling, watching to keep out of sight from other humans. Likewise for her return to Palermo, and doubly so when she climbed Monte Pellegrino, did she utilizing her whole being in relationship with the world around her to find a way? She was walking-with-- attentive to the shimmering vibrancy that she was a part of, situated in the ongoing configuring and reconfiguring of this entanglement(s).
Can we be more like Rosalia?
